Itinerary of the 5-Day Tour from Marrakech to Tafraout, Taroudant, Essaouira, and Sidi Ifni
Day 1: Marrakech – Taroudant
We will pick you up from your hotel or riad and drive to Taroudant in a very comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle.
We will cross the magical High Atlas Mountains, known for their grandeur and beautiful landscape (sometimes remaining snow-capped all year long), and pass by small Berber villages perched on its slopes, over the spectacular Tizi n’Test (2,093m).
You will explore the beauty of nature, see almond and walnut trees in bloom, and admire the views. Upon reaching Taroudant, you will have free time to explore this amazing city with its famous souks and crafts (marketplace).

Day 2: Taroudant – Tizi n’Test – Tafraout
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will take a scenic journey through the remote Ameln Valley of the Anti-Atlas to the small village of Tafraout, where you will feel calm, tranquility, and spiritual safety.
Tafraout, located among the Anti-Atlas Mountains in the south of Morocco, is one of the country’s most precious treasures and a quietly colorful little town known for its natural beauty, including the colorful rock formations of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. Ameln Valley is famous for its almond and argan trees.
It is also well-known for its markets, tagines, Berber villages, friendly people, and crafts, including babouches worthy of interest.

Day 3: Tafraout – Tiznit – Mirleft – Sidi Ifni
This morning, we will depart Tafraoute and drive to Tiznit, which is well-known for its silver jewelry trade and traditional Berber daggers and sabers. You will explore its fine silver and tribal jewelry, the red walls of packed earth, and enjoy spectacular views of the town, including the Medina and its surrounding areas.
Then we will go to Mirleft, a wonderful Berber town located where the Atlantic Ocean meets the mountains, known for its beautiful and tranquil beaches. Afterward, we head to impressive Sidi Ifni to spend the night at the hotel.

Day 4: Sidi Ifni – Essaouira
Today, our tour starts from Sidi Ifni to Essaouira, passing through stunning coastal views and discovering many Argan Oil Cooperatives where you can learn about and see how Argan nuts are acquired through goats in trees and then processed by local women. We will continue our journey to Essaouira Mogador.
Upon arrival in Essaouira, you will have free time or can hire a local guide to explore this magical city. Essaouira is a beautiful coastal town in Morocco known for its relaxed vibes, beach, seafood, artisan industries, and vibrant activities.
Essaouira was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2001 due to the protection of the island of Mogador from strong winds and high seas; it is also known as a filming location for Game of Thrones.
Enjoy the sea air, watch craftsmen at their work (e.g., woodworkers), explore the maze of alleys and shops, stroll through its narrow streets, dine on delicious meals in its restaurants, and enjoy its beautiful museums.

Day 5: Essaouira – Marrakech
After breakfast this morning, we will journey back to Marrakech, with opportunities to see the goats in the argan trees and visit a women’s cooperative argan store. We will continue our tour through fantastic scenery with a rich history and wonderful views, eventually reaching Marrakech, where we will drop you off at your accommodation.
