Itinerary of the 8-Day Desert Tour from Agadir to Marrakech via Erg Chegaga
Day 1: Agadir – Tiznit – Tafraout
We’ll start our journey in Agadir, enjoying the fresh coastal air before heading to Tiznit, a traditional town famous for its silver jewelry. From there, we’ll continue to Tafraout, nestled in the Anti-Atlas Mountains, where we’ll admire the stunning rock formations and beautiful almond groves.

Day 2: Tafraout – Tata
We will start our second day with a short walk in the Ameln Valley, where we can enjoy the mountain views. After that, we will drive to Tata, a small desert town surrounded by palm trees. On the way, we’ll see the landscape change from mountains to desert. Once in Tata, we’ll visit old villages and explore the area’s history. We’ll spend the night here, soaking in the quiet desert atmosphere.

Day 3: Tata – Erg Chegaga
We’ll leave Tata and head deeper into the desert towards Erg Chegaga, one of Morocco’s largest sand dune areas. We’ll enjoy a night under the stars in the vast Sahara, with the chance to take a camel trek through the dunes.

Day 4: Erg Chegaga – Zagora – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate
After a sunrise in the desert, we’ll travel to Zagora, known as the gateway to the Sahara. We’ll then follow the scenic Draa Valley, a lush palm-lined oasis, before arriving in Ouarzazate, a city famous for its film studios and the nearby ancient kasbah of Aït Benhaddou.

Day 5: Ouarzazate – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
