On our 8-day tour of Morocco from Casablanca, we will visit some of the country’s most amazing places. We’ll start by exploring the stunning Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, then head to Rabat to see its historic sites and the beautiful blue city of Chefchaouen. In Fes, we will walk through the largest old city in the world before heading to the Sahara Desert for a camel ride and a night in a desert camp.
We will travel through the scenic Todra and Dades Gorges, see the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, and cross the High Atlas Mountains to reach Marrakech. We’ll finish our journey with a tour of Marrakech’s famous sights before returning to Casablanca or Marrakech.

Itinerary of the 8-Day Tour of Morocco from Casablanca
Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a delightful morning tour towards the capital city of Morocco, one of the four Imperial Cities. We will visit Mohamed V’s Mausoleum, the unfinished Hassan Tower, one of the three great Almohad towers, and the Kasbah of Oudayas.
This city is known for its mazelike alleys and traditional houses, decorated both outside and inside. Then, we will drive to one of the best cities in Morocco, Chefchaouen, the famous blue city, also known as the “blue pearl,” nestled between the Rif Mountains in northern Morocco.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Fes
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a morning tour in this amazing blue city, one of the most picturesque places you will ever see, and a small village with approximately 40,000 residents. Enjoy the crazy blue alleyways and stairwells, local artwork, and charming old houses, among other attractions.
We will then continue with a drive through the Rif Mountains with fascinating views until we reach Fes, where we will spend the night.

Day 3: Fes Sightseeing Tour
After a traditional Moroccan breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a morning city tour of Fes, the most “genuine” imperial city of Morocco. The royal city of Fes has a lot to offer, so get your cameras and hearts ready.
Touch the old scripts on the walls, and visit the fascinating medina preserved as a UNESCO World Heritage Site; it is the largest medina in the world. Walk through its winding streets and see a maze of alleyways that take you back centuries with an authentic feel.
For a taste of the non-Islamic history of Fes, don’t miss the Mellah, the old Jewish quarter of the medina, built in the 13th century and becoming the first Jewish quarter in Morocco in 1438. Also, visit the world’s oldest university still in existence, The University of Al Quaraouiyine, established in 859 AD by a Muslim woman, Fatima Al-Fihri.

Day 4: Fes – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga (Camel Trekking & Desert Camping)
After breakfast at the hotel, we continue our tour from Fes to the Merzouga desert, heading southward via Ifrane and Azrou. During our trip, we will stop at the cedar forest to see its magnificent Barbary macaques (Barbary apes), who are friendly and will take food from your hand.
We then continue through the panoramic view of the Middle Atlas Mountains to Midelt, where we will have lunch. We will explore the magnificent landscape of the Middle Atlas Mountains and Berber villages, crossing the Ziz Valley with a panoramic view of its nature.
After a beautiful drive through amazing nature, you will arrive at one of the most wonderful places you will ever see, the Sahara Merzouga. We will arrive at the hotel where you can drop off your belongings if needed, then hop on your camel and enjoy a desert experience of a lifetime in the highest dunes in North Africa.
Explore the Sahara by camel (dromedary) ride and witness the beautiful sunset. After a traditional Moroccan dinner at a Berber nomadic desert camp, enjoy the sound of silence under the starry desert skies and the comfortable weather.

Day 5: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorge & Valley
Your camel guide will wake you up to catch the sunrise and climb the dunes to see the magnificent view. Then, make your way back via camel to the lodge for a shower and breakfast. We will start our journey towards Todra and Dades Gorges, visiting Rissani where you will see many ksours, with its rich souk and palmary.
Continue our trip with a picturesque drive through beautiful Berber villages to Todra Gorge, one of the most spectacular gorges and river canyons in the world with its stunning rock formations. We will then continue through the impressive views of Dades Gorge and the breathtaking Dades Valley.

Day 6: Dades Valley-Ouarzazate-Ait Ben Haddou-High Atlas Mountains-Marrakech
After a delicious breakfast and shower, we start the day of our grand Morocco tour. Drive through the amazing nature of the Dades Valley, passing through old Berber villages. Reach Ouarzazate, known as the “Gate of the Desert” or the “Hollywood of Morocco.”
We will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas Film Studios. Then, visit one of the best kasbahs in Morocco, the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site where many films such as Game of Thrones and Gladiator have been filmed.
We will then cross the massive pass via the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n’Tichka on our way to Marrakech, where we will spend the night.

Day 7: Marrakech City Sightseeing Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, immerse yourself in the hustle and bustle of Marrakech on a sightseeing city tour. Visit the fascinating Koutoubia Mosque, enjoy the garden atmosphere surrounding it, and see the Bahia Palace and the Saadian Tombs.
Have lunch, then visit the cultural and magical Jemaa el-Fnaa square. Enjoy the transformation throughout the day and hear the flute players while the snakes dance.
Walk through the souks surrounding the square, and refresh with a drink at sundown from a panoramic terrace.

Day 8: Marrakech – Casablanca
This is the last day of your 8-day tour of Morocco from Casablanca, with fascinating views and rich history. Transfer from Marrakech to the airport in Casablanca or Marrakech.
